Intraoral Cameras (IOCs) are used by the entire staff at Dr. Lovan’s office. They are used to build patients’ trust through visual communication. While digital xrays are useful, IOCs are best used chairside to show you a clear picture of the inside of your mouth, allowing Dr. Lovan to consult with you on various treatment options. These images are saved directly to the computer and also can be printed.
You as the patient are able to see your own intraoral conditions under magnification that appears on a computer monitor. It’s unbelievable what you can see and it is very helpful for you, the patient, to understand your dental needs.
